What to Expect at Your Cabin

Steep and winding roads

While the roads to the cabin are paved, it is best to arrive at the cabin during daylight to become acclimated with the drive.  Not only that, but you will get a great view as you drive up the mountain.

Well water

The cabin's water is sourced from a well and is filtered via whole house filtration.  It is absolutely safe to drink.   While the water supply is sufficiently pressurized, it may be feel under pressure if you are used to a public water supply.  Thus the water pressure for your shower may appear to  feel weak. 

 Nature/Insects

The cabin resides on a mountain and is surrounded by wooded areas. Expect to find insects and pests in or around the cabin. While we do have a pest control service to limit insect and pest activity, it is impossible to completely eliminate all insects, pests and other wildlife from the property. 

Trash Disposal

Please use the garbage cans within the bear proof cages to dispose of trash.  Placing trash anywhere else may attract visitors, such as raccoons and opossums
